My Project
Our Communication Boards for Inclusive and Accessible Communication project is designed to support individuals with communication difficulties in various environments where communication devices may not function as well as intended (PE/Gyms and outdoor playgrounds). The communication boards will allow for quick access to picture communication during exercise, play, and outdoor opportunities, which will support the longevity of batteries in cold weather, and support the lifespan of tangible items. Allowing students and family members the communication they need in all environments without the fear of losing, damaging or worrying about expensive AAC devices is powerful.
