My Project
My students learn best with materials that they can interact with and get excited about! I've requested each of the materials in this project with a particular student, or students in mind. Toys such as unlocking treasure chests, piles of animals, and bins full of Legos provide endless opportunities for creativity and communication. Having some fresh options in the mix keeps my students interested and excited to come to speech!
Our school community continues to rebuild after the 2023 wildfires.
Rebuilding the speech-language therapy department's inventory of play-based materials, particularly for our younger learners, is an ongoing process. I'm excited for the opportunity to bring in some new options to start the 25-26 school year strong!
