Commotio Cordis? We Need New Goalie Chest Protectors
Help me give my students new goalie chest protectors for our girls lacrosse team since they must meet new safety performance standards.

My Students
Our school is an academically successful, rural, high school that is filled to the brim with about 900 wonderful students. We serve our military community as well, pulling in students whose parents work.
In the state's ranking system, our high-performing high school has been ranked as a top ten public high school in NC for eleven consecutive years.
Through our state's report card system, we have been given an "A" designation, the only school in our district or county to have such a mark. We have earned this distinction for the FIFTH year in a row. And we are very proud of it!
On September 13, 2018, our community was hit by Hurricane Florence. Almost exactly one year later, our county and community were hit by another hurricane - Hurricane Dorian. However, these hurricanes might have re-shaped us, but definitely won't define us. We are strong.
My Project
Unfortunately, our Spring 2020 inaugural girls' lacrosse season was cut short because of Covid-19. Even though we were only able to play 4 games, we had so much success and we are looking forward to building the program over the next few years.
As a coach, I am asking for two goalie chest protectors because there are new mandatory performance standards that need to be met on certain equipment.
All goalie chest protectors must have the NOCSAE logo and SEI certification mark by January 2021 in order for the equipment to be legal. As of now, there aren't many options available that meet those new requirements so by purchasing these two chest protectors, I am guaranteeing that we have the necessary equipment to be compliant for the upcoming season.
