My Students

These are middle school students from a small rural community. They are eager to learn new activities and always excited when introduced to new exercises and equipment! They have jumped right into a new class where they learn and demonstrate different types of exercise and how to implement a healthy, active lifestyle. Our students cooperate and are becoming more intrigued with the area of personal fitness. These are students who make good use of the materials that we provide them to use and appreciate them.

My Project

Fitness class has been a great addition to our school and students have enjoyed the uniqueness it brings. Students become excited when a new piece of equipment arrives. The addition of a plyo box will assist the class in having an additional exercise to be used during a circuit training type workout.

Students will gain lower body strength and endurance which will assist them in increasing vertical leap and maintaining balance.

Many of these students will see improvements in athletic performance as well. "Each new day is an opportunity to improve yourself." Helping students realize this is the greatest part of my job.
