Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Since I teach children from kindergarten to fifth grade, I like to have the flexibility of sitting on the floor. My primary students like to be close to the screen. My older students enjoy a change of seating.
A big carpet that is comfortable and beautiful would provide a soft spot.
The carpet I have requested is a neutral black and white. They are designed for classroom comfort. Students appreciate that the room is comfortable for them. When students are comfortable physically, it goes a long way to feeling comfortable in the learning community.
