This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It's a pretty good problem to have as a teacher--to look around your classroom and wonder how in the world you're going to be able to display even more student work. That's the problem I find myself with these days. I not only display KWL charts, anchor charts, vocabulary words, classroom expectations, and reference charts but also my students' most excellent work. In fact, the students eagerly look around the room to see their work right after they turn it in! They can't wait to see their work displayed in the classroom.
My students beam with pride when they are able to display their work and share their ideas with one another.
So even if there's just not enough time in the day to have each student share all of their work orally, we can certainly display student work on our walls! That's where this project's resources will come in handy. The pushpins, magnets, and adhesive hooks will enable us to better utilize our walls and cabinet doors to display work: from well-supported informational paragraphs to social-emotional learning to visual arts, science, math, and more! All of it will be easy to change out regularly too.
