This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am lucky to work in a diverse school with many needs. My students enjoy having the choice of where to work in the classroom. Because this is only their second year in school, students are still growing their work ethic and muscles.
Allowing my students flexible seating increases their productivity. I am a big believer in students learning where they are most comfortable. When students are comfortable, they enjoy learning and working. If you give students a seating choice, chances are they will work more. The stools, lap desks, and comfy chairs will allow for flexible seating.
