Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are the curious little explorers where many of them come to school for the first time. After being locked in by a pandemic they are happy and eager to learn and explore everything around them.
I have the great opportunity to teach children of mixed ages 3 & 4 years old from different cultures in an Immersion Program in Spanish.
My Project
My project is to be able to provide them with a carpets that provide a comfortable and safe space during the morning meeting, small group time or as the block area.
The carpets will help minimize noise reduction by absorbing sound of the environment at the same time that it will provide them with a cozy atmosphere.
This project material will help my students focus on every day learning by minimizing distraction and making their learning safer. Please give my little ones a chance to feel safe in the classroom.
