This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students enjoy learning. We spend lots of time at our desks working, and with flexible seating, they get to select a new spot. Students enjoy selecting new spots and can focus on the task at hand. Some students can focus better if they use the stools to sit closer to the board. Also, flexible seating allows students to work in pairs or groups. Flexible seating facilitates collaboration within the class.
The stools will be used for small-group instruction.
I can meet with groups at the kidney table and kids can join me on stools. The stools can then be moved around the classroom for flexible seating.
