This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I help my students learn English and to become literate in their own language as well. My kindergarten students have dreams of making a difference in this world and they know the importance of having an education. They trust me to provide this but I need the necessary supplies to help them reach their dreams. My students are so inquisitive and are always ready to learn despite so many difficult obstacles they face every day. Please help our class reach their dreams.

My Project

As soon as their class assignments are completed, my students try to make their way over to the reading corner to enjoy a book. They enjoy having the down time to read their favorite book and engage in meaningful conversations with their classmates about the books they're reading.

My students are learning to read and know the importance of reading so it would be ideal for the students to have a sofa to sit on and enjoy reading their books.
