Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Throughly cleaning and organizing the classroom, not only gives student’s a clean space to thrive in it also allows for flexible seating. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make choices that work best for them. Student’s are choosing to sit on the floor with a clipboard, with the hexagon floor cushions it will make it a more comfortable for them.

My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are allowed flexible seating options.

With help of paper pencils and markers it helps improve the learning environment without the need of worrying if the students have all that they need.
