Comfy Rug for Lots of Learning!

Help me give my students the comfort of a new rug that they can learn on, work on and play on! This will make them feel more at home and nice and comfy!

My Students

Hello! I teach in an urban school that supports the needs of incredible students who love to learn. Our school is 98 % free and reduced lunch. My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures. Many of my students have moved to Harrisburg from other countries recently.

My students love to read and spend time working using flexible seating.

They love to sit on the floor and work with centers and read big books with peers. I am looking to make my room more comfortable this year by getting items that allow kids to feel more at home and less sit and read in desk mode.

My Project

My students spend an many hours a week in the classroom learning. They often get a choice where they want to sit and work, read or play. This new carpet will allow for them to be in a surface that is clean and free from dirt and germs of the floor.

The rug is big enough that I will finally be able for all kids to have a defined space during circle and whole group instruction.

I look forward to my students enjoying their time together in this new space! My students will be super excited to be together no matter what they are doing!
