My Project
As we all know, third grade is a critical year for our students' reading development. It sets the foundation for their future success, including graduating from high school. By this stage, it is essential that students have a strong grasp of phonics and are actively working on improving their reading fluency, enabling them to focus on comprehension and meaning.
These comfy chairs will encourage students to cuddle up with a book and fire up their imaginations.
We ensure that students get reading practice at school. Not all students are on level at the beginning of 3rd grade, but we know that practice is the best way to get better. One really excellent way to encourage the love of reading is making our practice time a wonderful part of the day.
By implementing this initiative, we aim to create an environment where reading becomes a cherished part of our students' day. It is through these moments of joy and exploration that students will develop a lifelong passion for reading, setting them up for continued success in their academic journey.
