Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them to learn. Comfortable seating allows my students to stay seated and focus on the lesson and class activities. My students are also more engaged in their work when they have what they need at hand (or can easily retrieve them).

The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them comfortable seating and providing a space for them to have the books and tools they need readily available.

The memory foam chair cushions will allow students to sit comfortably at their desks while they participate in the lesson, group activities, or independent learning. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material when they don't have to worry about discomfort.

The chair back organizers will house student binders, workbooks, and all the tools they need to work on class activities and support their learning. The baskets will be placed under their chairs for additional storage, and the pencil baskets and pen holders will be secured to the desk surfaces to keep items such as pencils, pens, erasers, markers, glues, and scissors close at hand.

With these items, my students will embrace their personal spaces and be more prepared to learn and more positive about the space in which this learning occurs.
