My Project
My students are curious, energetic first graders who love to learn and grow each day. They come to school ready to engage, move, and participate in hands-on learning throughout our day together.
One thing that helps our classroom run smoothly is having furniture that supports their independence and keeps transitions quick and easy.
Right now, we have a few older chairs that don’t match the rest of our classroom set. These older chairs are heavier and harder for my students to move and put up at the end of the day, which is something we practice as part of our clean-up routine. I’m requesting four new chairs that match the rest of our set — these are lighter, more manageable for little hands, and will help create a more cohesive, student-friendly environment.
Having matching chairs that are easy to use might seem like a small detail, but it makes a big difference in how smoothly our classroom functions. These new chairs will give my students the independence and confidence to take care of their learning space — and they’ll look great too!
