If I were to pick two places in our classroom that students enjoy the most, I would say it's the meeting area and our classroom library. My goal for this project is to make these favored classroom locations more organized, cushioned, and comfortable for students to enjoy even more.
Students frequently go to the meeting area and browse through our extensive library throughout the day.
This project will enhance their learning experience. The meeting area is a space in our classroom that allows students from other tables to come together, share ideas, discuss new learning concepts, check their work, and many more. Sometimes, students stay in the meeting area for more than 5 minutes and eventually, they start looking for ways to support their backs or stretch their legs. By having these floor seats students will feel more focused, engaged and comfortable during their learning time. Furthermore, the book baskets will update the appearance and organization of the classroom library. These sturdy baskets will hold the variety of books found in our classroom.
