Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

To create a more inviting and student-centered learning environment, I’m requesting flexible seating options including a classroom carpet, lap desks, and stadium floor seats.

Traditional desks don’t meet the needs of all learners—some students focus better when they can move, stretch, or choose where to sit.

These materials will allow students to work comfortably in different positions, collaborate more effectively, and take ownership of their learning. A cozy carpet and floor seating options will help foster a welcoming space that supports both academic growth and social-emotional well-being in my 7th grade classroom.
