My Students

In our joint classroom, we teach the most wonderful children in our school. They are funny, creative and caring. Our job is to teach them skills to help them become successful readers on grade level. We use individual interventions and programs that will monitor their growth. Many of our students need accomodations to help them focus as well. The greatest success we see with our students is their enthusiasm and confidence in reading. Our students will be very greatful for the donations!

My Project

In our classroom giving our students the ability to enjoy reading on their level, or working towards a higher grade level, is a wonderful experience. Our small groups give the children a feeling of comfort and immediate success. The children enjoy the individualized attention, and so do we. We really get to bond with each other. Often the lessons give the students the opportunity to enjoy reading independently.

Many times while working with another student, a child might want to practice reading.

These requested Giant Comfy Pillows will allow our students to find a spot in our room and read. What could be better?!!
