My Students

My school is in a rural county in Virginia. I have 21 students that come from many different backgrounds. They love coming to school and learning each day and I want to give them all the tools they need to succeed.

My students come from many diverse economic situations and when they come to school each day I want them to have the best learning environment possible.

It is my job to ensure they get the very best education possible.

My Project

I am building a foundation for my students to have a lifelong love of reading! I am creating a classroom environment that is FUN and comfortable and conducive to learning and reading. Right now we have several reading areas in our classroom with pillows and cushions and several special seats for students.

This comfy reading couch will serve as a reading incentive for my students and will give them a FUN comfortable place to read.

My students look forward to reading time each day and will be so happy and grateful to receive a wonderful couch like this to read each day.
