This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love how curious, creative, and eager my students are to learn. Each day, they bring energy and excitement into our classroom, and I want to create a space that matches their enthusiasm. Many of my students learn best when they feel comfortable and secure, and a cozy environment can make a big difference in how well they stay focused and engaged—especially during whole-group instruction.

That’s why I’m requesting soft floor pillows and a beanbag chair.

These resources will help transform our gathering space into a more welcoming and inclusive area where students can sit comfortably, feel more at ease, and stay focused on learning. Whether we're reading a story together, exploring a new math concept, or sharing ideas during a class discussion, having cozy seating will help my students feel supported and ready to learn.
