This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach sixth grade reading and writing in the Bronx. My students come to school quite often without a charged device. The charging outlets are not always in the best locations, so having these flexible seating options will allow my students to comfortably sit on the floor. They can charge their computer and continue to work while sitting comfortable in the new chairs you provide us! It also is a good option for students who do not love sitting at a desk, it allows them to comfortably sit and work on the floor.
