I work with elementary aged children, many of which need to move or be comfortable in order to focus on their work. Sitting in a hard chair all day is distracting and uncomfortable. While our classroom has some choices for center work around the room, I would love to provide each student with a comfortable, ergonomic desk chair to use every day in class. This set of 16 will finish that journey, providing the remainder of students and individual seat and small group chairs!
A comfy place to sit will aid in the students' ability to focus on their work and improve academic success!
Students who are comfortable or have choice in their seating work longer and are able to engage for longer periods of time. When students are engaged and comfortable, they retain information at a higher rate.
