This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My English Language Learners (ELLs) love receiving classroom rewards for their positive behavior in math class. One of their favorite rewards is sitting in my office chair because it is particularly comfortable and makes them feel special! However, my office chair is not available for them to use when I am working with a small group of students, so we need another comfy chair for our classroom.

A comfy chair in our classroom will motivate my students to demonstrate good behavior, which will ultimately lead to more learning!

Also, this reward is an eco-friendly alternative to single-use plastic toys from a prize box, which unfortunately end up in landfills. Thank you for helping me motivate my students to behave well in math class!
