This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom library is in need of an area rug for comfortable reading. This rug will fit perfectly in our classroom library, providing such a desirable space for students to read.

There is nothing like a good book and a comfortable space to read in, and this rug will do just that, especially for my reluctant readers.

With the rise of technology, books are getting thrown to the wayside, and that is something that I continually aim to change. Little changes, such as providing comfortable spaces like an area rug, to entice my fifth graders to read, are part of my game plan. Thank you in advance for making this possible for my fifth graders.
