My Students

My students have a desire to learn. They come to school eager for knowledge and look to me, as their teacher, to provide it.

Most of my students come from low income or single-parent families.

Many of my students do not have the basic tools and supplies they need for a typical school day. My students are very energetic and want to learn.

Our school is in a constant battle to get our students the basic necessities they need to become successful scholars.

My Project

I am asking for your help to get my students a new rug for the library area of our classroom, some comfortable seating, new pencils, writing journals and some items for our class library.

Starting off the school year having an inviting area to read and write will help my students transition into second grade with ease and get my students ready to learn!

Having shiny new materials and items for our classroom will help my students get ready for the tough year ahead. Second grade is all about responsibility and stamina and hopefully with your help these new items will set the tone for the rest of the year.
