This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in reading. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interest of my students. Providing them with a comfortable space that promotes their growing bodies is of the upmost importance and so I have selected a few flexible seating options!

Struggling readers will often pick up a comic book because the pictures and visuals are less intimidating than a typical book.

Students deserve to see themselves represented in the media they consume, so a variety of graphic novels have been selected with main characters that are either female or POC or both!
