This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Losing a pet or a friend is never easy for a child. Grief is a hard concept for anyone to understand. Children need to process it like everyone else. If they are thinking of their loved ones, they will not be able to focus on school.

My goal is to give these kiddos something to hold onto when they are sad.

These charms can be placed in their pockets. Every time they are sad, they can remember the memories. This will help them process their emotions and feel comforted.

My students are the best. They have such kind and giving hearts. Thank you for thinking of them and helping to provide love back to them.
