My Project

This project is something that has been passionate for me and I have sought ways to get this funded, but it doesn't seem to come across like it should. I am a huge proponent that students should be able to move around freely and be comfortable in my class while they are learning.

My students asked me this year if I could find a way to bring more flexible seating into the classroom.

I knew immediately that this was the chance to get my project off the ground. I want to make reading and writing fun again and give them a comfortable space to read and write.

We have already added a few pieces, but as I stated, I have had trouble getting funding from other sources to outsource the seating. Students struggle with a comforting environment to read and write, and I believe that by adding flexible and comfortable spaces, I will see increased reading.
