My Students

Every child in my classroom loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best can vary greatly. My room incorporates a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating.

The various learning options are there to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are!

My students are truly incredible, and I am so thankful to have this group of 5th graders that are excited and ready to learn this school year! This application has been approved by School District 622.

My Project

Help me give my 5th grade students some flexible seating options! Our classroom is working on some more diverse learning spaces. The classroom will be offering more seating arrangements with the stools and lap boards.

The lap boards and stools will help send us on our way to do some creative thinking/learning in our new spaces.

I am striving for dramatic changes in academics, student experiences, and overall joy/happiness. I am excited to offer my student more flexible seating in our classroom. Students think this is a great idea to have stools and lap boards to help fill the spaces available in our room. They cannot wait to try it out!
