Comfortable Small Group Learning

My Project

Teaching in small groups is critical for closing the gaps that Covid has created. I just received a small group table from my district but the chairs do not fit well in this space. The kids hit the poles on the table are a squished between the pole and the student next to them. Having padded stools to sit at will make it a much smoother and easier process when switching groups. Not only are the stools more comfortable but they fit the space so they won’t be stuck in a certain spot so they can actually reach the desk. The chairs are all broken somehow and very low to the ground. These stools are high enough with the padding the students will be able to complete their work with less difficulty. Headphones were on our supply list but I have about 7 or 8 students without them. Headphones are necessary for audio support on our programs and they will help me to be successful in reaching those lower-level groups as well as meet my accommodation requirements for those with special needs. They also need disinfecting wipes.
