Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a Title One school where one hundred percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. I have high expectations that my students will grow and achieve beyond the expectations set for them. We study STEM topics such as robotics, engineering, and coding along with our curriculum.
School is a safe and fun place for my students.
They enjoy coming to school and learning through hands-on, engaging activities. For many of my students, school is the highlight of their day.
My Project
These seats will make the classroom brighter and more inviting for the students. Some of my students have not been in a school setting in a year and a half. Due to this, they are nervous about returning to in person learning. My students have a variety of learning needs.
By offering a variety of flexible seating options, I am able to help my learners meet their individual needs.
The ability to have a comfortable place to learn helps students focus better and provide the optimal learning environment for all regardless of their learning needs.
