This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are my heart and greatest passion. This is my fourth year of teaching. I am beginning my National Boards this year and plan to do the entire process before the end of the year. I am also at a new school this year and working primarily with native Spanish speakers. My school is Title 1 with a loving, supportive staff. Throughout the year I will be requesting help to fund projects related to National Boards, classroom organization, and ESL support.

My Project

My students are in need of comfortable seating. A few of my students are diagnosed with ADD. Some other students are really shy and need an environment that makes them feel more at home and comfortable. I think with flexible seating students will be more comfortable, focused, and the variety of different kinds of seating options allow them even more flexibility to choose something that works best for them. I want my children to feel like the classroom is somewhere comfortable they can go and want to be. I appreciate any help you can provide to this project. I have spent lots of money on my classroom over the years and could use some help.
