My Students

The students that I service are highly motivated. In preparing for college, they lack the proper knowledge of the planning process. They seek to be successful in every way possible. It is very delightful to be able to educate them. The resources that they have in the classroom are very limited. They live in poverty; therefore, the resources that they need to be successful are not always available.

As I’m preparing them for college, it’s difficult to perfect their educational experience due to a lack of skills, appropriate seating, and technology resources.

My Project

The desks and chairs will help my students remain comfortable throughout their 100-minute classes. Often times students become agitated and impatient due to the inability of renaming comfortable in the classroom while learning. It is also important that students are able to work effectively and the bean bag chairs will assist with this. These chairs will go into the class’ reading corner so that students can read and/or do group work. The student learning outcome will increase because with these additions to the classroom seating environment they will feel more comfortable.
