My Project
I want to create an interactive space that promotes learning and is a safe, comfortable environment for students. A space that belongs to them and they have a desire to return to everyday. My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work. The couch and the beanbag chairs will allow for additional comfortable seating options. The expo markers, white boards, and other creative tools will be used during group work. A lot of my assignments have been project based where they present in front of the classroom. These tools can help keep their projects creative.
I have seen how choice can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
