Comfortable Seating for Small Groups & Outside Scenery

Help me give my students comfortable seating during small group guided reading time and a beautiful artificial eucalyptus tree to bring in some outside scenery.

My Project

Small group reading time with the teacher is one of the most important parts of the 1st grade day. When students are at my reading table, they currently sit in a stool. I have 5 stools that are red, blue, green, yellow, and purple. Unfortunately, these stools are becoming a problem and need to be replaced with more comfortable chairs for my students. Not only do they constantly fall out of their seat from tipping the stools, but they are not comfortable. Reading time should be a comfortable time for my kiddos. I would like to replace these cheaper stools with chairs that have backs on them. I have requested a light gray color, which is a calming color for my classroom.

Speaking of the word "calming,” I have also included an artificial eucalyptus tree in my request.

My classroom is one of the few interior rooms in the building. That means my room does not have any doors, windows, or light from the outside. As I begin to re-decorate my room into a more calming atmosphere, I'd also like to include some plants. This eucalyptus tree I think could help in that for some outside type of scenery. Thank you for your support and your help in making my classroom a little better for my 1st graders!
