Comfortable Seating for 6th Grade

Help me give my students comfort during their school day with chairs that allow them to focus more on their studies and less on their backs hurting. I feel like being comfortable goes along way in being successful.

My Project

I feel that providing students with padded chairs allows for some comfort during the school day. Being able to move without being a noisy distraction goes a long way in helping them be able to focus on their school work throughout the day. As a self-contained classroom, the students have subjects back to back in the afternoon, and sitting on hard plastic chairs breaks their focus and attention. Four-legged chairs also only allow for a leaning back motion which can cause injury and damage to the chair. With chairs like this, the students will be able to move in a swivel motion without distracting classmates, as well as have a padded chair and back support that will fit nicely under their desks. I think this will help the students sit better during the day with better posture, and be able to improve their concentration.
