This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help my students be comfortable while learning. Remember being at school and having to sit in those uncomfortable chairs , while being attentive for hours. With the needs of our students nowadays they are need different opportunities for alternative seating. These flexible seating chairs will help my students be more motivated to learn in a comfortable space. It will also promote student creativity and collaboration with their peers.
My goals for this project is to create a welcoming learning environment where students have the flexibility to learn and work where they are most comfortable.
These chairs will foster physical, emotional and academic benefits by allowing students choice, cultivate a sense of community, promote collaboration with their peers, and help with movement and comfort. Finally, students will be motivated to learn and complete their work if they are provided with an appropriate learning environment.
