Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
What I love about my students is their willingness to learn new things and keep trying when concepts are challenging. My students are in a dual language program that is open to all students. Our goal is to create English and Spanish rich instruction in which all our students will become developing bilinguals! My students are special because they are motivated and unique individuals. My students believe that everyone in their classroom is important and loved by each other and by me as their teacher.
My Project
I am blessed to teach and help shape the minds of young learners. Many of our young learners fidget in their desks and have compulsivity they cannot control. As we know, all students learn differently and not many students will benefit from the traditional sitting on their desks with instruction.
Flexible seating will allow my students to find comfortable seating options that will allow them to stay focused on instruction and do their best learning.
I want to slowly incorporate flexible seating in my classroom this year to allow my students to have options and take some ownership in how they learn.
