My Students
Hello! I teach in a K-2 school with approximately 1,000 students. Our school has a diverse population of students. My students are smart, enthusiastic, creative, hardworking, eager, and respectful. My classroom consists of students from all different backgrounds. I have high functioning students, low functioning students, and ELL students. My school offers reading and math interventions to aid struggling learners in their educational success.
I am dedicated to my students.
It is my goal to provide an inviting, nurturing, and warm classroom where each student feels comfortable.
Our school does not receive Title I funding. Thus, the technology and resources in my classroom are limited. Most of my resources are supplied by either myself or through parent donations. The environment provided by the administration, teachers, and staff is inviting and nurturing. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of each student that walks through the doors.
My Project
I am requesting a large classroom rug for the front of my classroom. My classroom has tile floors that are not inviting to students. The classroom rug is where the magic happens. This rug will be utilized during small group learning time. I love to sit on the floor during small groups. This includes but is not limited to intervention groups, reading groups, and math groups.
This classroom rug will enhance our learning environment by providing students with a cozy place to sit while learning during small groups or independent reading time.
Having a large, clean, and cozy rug at the front of my classroom is important to both me and my students. It helps to enhance the learning environment while providing an inviting atmosphere.
