This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom, I have an office chair option for my students. They absolutely love it and it has become the preferred way to sit at the desks. The chairs do not obstruct the flow of the classroom and fit perfectly in the desks. My classroom has pods of 6, and I would like to replace the chairs in one pod to be office chairs so more students have access to this fan-favorite seating option.
I always aim for my students to overall feel comfortable in the classroom so I hope in fundraising for these chairs, I can grow closer to that goal.
