This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an educator at a Title 1 school, I need to find new and innovative ways to engage my students. I teach on the carpet often because that is where my students are most engaged. We use clipboards and whiteboards when working but the lap desks I have linked in my project would be a comfortable and ergonomic way for my students to learn.

I am also asking for engaging books featuring children of color to better represent the demographic at my school.

I will need storage options for the new books I am requesting so that my classroom is an organized, well-functioning place to be.
