My Project

I plan to use the requested materials to replace the colored mats that are already in the classroom.

Let me give you some background information about my classroom.

For the past 3-4 years, I have purchased colored floor mats to the make room more comfortable for learning to occur. In particular, lessons like the Overthrow of the Queen and lessons like learning about Oceania become easier to grasp when students are in a comfortable environment.

Sometimes, students will choose to sit on the floor mats as they are engaging in the lessons of Hawaiian History and Pacific Island Studies.
