This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work at a Title I school and my students are amazing, hard working and kind. Unfortunately, because of the economic demands of living in NYC, many of my students do not have easy access to many of the items they may need throughout the school day.
This project will allow me to create a Classroom Pantry for essential items such as bandaids, feminine pads, deodorant and glass wipes.
If a student needs any of these items, they will be able to access the pantry to take the item the need. No student should feel uncomfortable or as if they can't access these items easily. This project will help with this and I would appreciate any help.
