My Project

Flexible seating and fidget bands have been shown to greatly improve student focus. A flexible classroom allows students to choose the learning space that works best for them, helping them collaborate effectively, stay engaged, and strengthen our classroom community. Teaching is my passion, and I take every opportunity to think outside the box, whether through hands-on lessons or by creating a comfortable and inviting learning environment.

With this project, I plan to expand my flexible seating options for use in small groups and during stations.

I will also add chair bands to all of our classroom chairs, giving students a productive way to move while staying focused at their tables. In addition, I will use a portable lap desk organizer to neatly store and access our lap desks, making it easier for students to use them more often.

I am so grateful for the chance to enhance our classroom with these tools, and I know they will make a meaningful difference in my students’ learning experience!
