My Project

I'm excited to be able to to teach a Life skills class and instill good habits and ways of taking care of themselves and their families. They in turn, will be better able to serve their families and communities. I want to create a classroom environment that's like a cozy home for them to learn these skills in. I will have a small living room and kitchen for us to work in. Most have not experienced a comfortable lifestyle and I would like to provide this for them. With this relaxing furniture we will be able to learn how to sew and clean.

My kids come from very dysfunctional families and most don't understand the basics on how to take care of themselves on a daily basis.

In this class, I will be teaching them basic life skills such as cooking nutritious meals, baking desserts, how to sew clothes for themselves, fix clothes that need mending, basic cleaning of themselves and their environment and how to pay bills and live a productive life. Thank you!
