Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The sofa and coffee table I'm requesting will create a comfortable area in my classroom with comfortable seating. Comfortable seating allows students to take charge of their learning, social emotional health, and make the choices that work best for them.
These items will also create an inviting space that feels less like an institution in which all young people and adults acquire and apply knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions and achieve personal and collective goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain supportive relationships, and make responsible and caring individuals.
