Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have the privilege of teaching a group of enthusiastic and hardworking third-grade students who bring curiosity and excitement to the classroom each day. They come from diverse backgrounds, and despite the challenges they face, they always show up eager to learn and engage. However, our current classroom chairs are old, broken, and unstable, making it difficult for my students to stay focused and comfortable throughout lessons.
By providing sturdy, ergonomic chairs, I can create a learning environment where students can focus on their studies without distractions.
With stable seating, my students will be able to concentrate better, collaborate more effectively, and participate in class discussions without worrying about their chairs falling apart. These new chairs will also improve their posture and overall comfort, which is essential for maintaining engagement during longer lessons.
I plan to use the new chairs in every aspect of our daily learning. Whether we are working on group projects, reading, or completing hands-on activities, the chairs will provide the support my students need to stay comfortable and focused. This will help foster a positive and productive classroom environment where every student can do their best. My goal is to ensure that my students have the best possible foundation for their education, and comfortable seating is an important part of that foundation.
