Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The items in this cart are things to make the girls in this class more comfortable. I get students daily who need the items requested. We have books for learning about themselves.I want them to be able to read about things they aren't comfortable talking about. We have pads and wipes to help them be more comfortable and not have to worry about accidents at school. They come to me and I provide them with what they need while in our care There are so many girls in our school and still so much is needed. It's simply a part of life what they go through. We have after school sessions and the fridge will help me store snacks and beverages for them in those meetings all while learning to be young ladies. I always want to be there and be a helping hand. There cycle should be the last thing they have to worry about. They can be more focused on their studies. We have pad holders so that the students will fell more comfortable going to and from the restroom and won't feel embarrassed.
