My Students

I work with children with special needs in grades Kindergarten through third grade.

Many are easily distracted, have difficulty listening, following directions and concentrating. They have a difficult time working independently and appear to tune out during instruction.

My Project

I am requesting 9 special "Hokki" stools so my students will be able to move and wiggle while they learn. Allowing them this flexibility will help improve their attention and concentration during the school day. It will also make them feel secure while having to sit in place for a longer period of time.

Please consider helping my students reach their full academic potential when behaviors that are otherwise distracting are under control and being managed appropriately.
