Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are awesome and deserve the best of me! Creating the perfect learning environment is important to me. The Rugs for this project are going to be for dedicated learning spaces and hand on activity stations as well. These stations are for my students to learn math visually: Base ten blocks, fraction bars, fact stands, Area blocks, etc. All my students come from diverse backgrounds and visual representation is must in my classroom. A lot of my students first language is their native language. That's why these stations are even more pertinent because it will help where the language barrier and give my students the help they need to be successful and comfortable while learning difficult subjects.
